Rental terms
The short version: look after the piece, bring it back on time, and your deposit comes straight back to you.
Your booking
Your dates are held as soon as you reserve. To confirm, pay the rental fee and the refundable deposit within the hold period shown on your booking page. Unpaid holds expire automatically and the dates are released.
The deposit
The deposit protects the piece while it is with you. It is refunded in full once the bag is back with us and checked, normally within 3 working days, to the account you paid from.
Collection and delivery
Collect from our Lagos studio at an agreed time, or ask us to deliver. Delivery fees are agreed separately. Please bring the booking reference and a valid photo ID when you collect.
Late returns
Please return the bag by the end date on your booking. Late returns are charged a daily late fee, deducted from the deposit. If you need longer, message us before the return date and we will extend it if the calendar allows.
Damage and loss
Normal wear is fine. Damage beyond normal wear (stains, scratches, broken clasps or chains, missing crystals) is deducted from the deposit at the cost of professional repair. If the bag is lost or damaged beyond repair, the full deposit is kept and any shortfall against the replacement value is payable.
Changing your dates
You can move your booking once, free of charge, up to 7 days before collection, subject to availability. Use the change request on your booking page or message us.
Cancellations and refunds
- More than 14 days before collection: full refund of everything paid.
- 7 to 14 days before collection: deposit refunded, 50% of the rental fee refunded.
- Less than 7 days before collection: deposit refunded, rental fee not refunded.
If we ever have to cancel, you get a full refund.
Looking after the bag
Keep it away from rain, perfume, oils and direct heat, and store it in the dust bag provided. Please do not attempt any cleaning or repair yourself.
Current late fee: ₦10,000 per day.
